TEXO participates in the groundbreaking ceremony of Legend City Project
On the morning of April 26th, the Viet Duc Steel Manufacturing Group organized the groundbreaking ceremony for the Legend City Project in Dao Duc commune, Binh Xuyen district. Attending the event was comrade Vu Viet Van, Member of the Provincial Party Committee’s Standing Committee, Vice Chairman in charge of the Provincial People’s Committee; leaders of several departments, sectors, localities, representatives of the project’s investors, and participating units. Representing TEXO, Mr. Do Quoc Huynh, Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of the Company, was present.
The Legend City Project of the Viet Duc Steel Manufacturing Group was granted Construction Permit No. 01/GPXD on April 22, 2024, with a scale of over 60 hectares, located adjacent to the 100-meter wide Mê Linh Boulevard interchange and National Highway 2A. The project is divided into two phases. Phase 1 will be implemented on an area of 27.5 hectares, including 197 shophouse units, 201 villas, 02 20-story commercial apartment buildings, social housing, and commercial and service facilities, schools, parking lots, and green parks. Phase 2 covers 34.5 hectares, with 185 shophouse units, 203 villas, social housing, and commercial and service areas, schools, parking lots, and waterfront green parks.
Legend City is located at the intersection of the 100-meter wide Me Linh Boulevard and National Highway 2A, especially at the Beltway 4 of the Capital Region – an important development axis of Hanoi’s urban economy. When completed, Legend City is estimated to connect to the capital’s top-tier service areas such as Starlake Urban Area, Ciputra Urban Area, Lotte Mall Vo Chi Cong Commercial Center, Vinmec International Hospital (Vinhomes SmartCity), Concordia International School, and Van Tri Golf Course within approximately 30 minutes.
Legend City boasts more than 16 modern utility areas, designed to high standards such as the exclusive Clubhouse for residents, a 50-meter Olympic-standard swimming pool, outdoor sports complex, community library, Wetland Reserve conservation and education park.
Sharing at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Le Minh Hai, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Viet Duc Steel Manufacturing Group, stated that Legend City marks a turning point for the Group as it officially enters the promising real estate sector. After a meticulous preparation phase and dedication, with the cooperation of many prominent names from Singapore, the United Kingdom, the project is officially being implemented for Phase 1 construction and is expected to be introduced to the market by the end of this year.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee hopes that in the third quarter of 2024, the investor will direct and implement the groundbreaking for the social housing area within the project’s premises to serve workers, low-income residents in the province in general, and in the industrial zones in Binh Xuyen district in particular. Comrade trusts in the reputation and capacity of the investor, believing that the Legend City Project, when completed, will truly become a model urban area in the province.
