The inauguration of AIKYA EUROPA Pharmaceutical Plant Phase 1

On the morning of November 4, 2023, at the High-Tech Pharmaceutical Industrial Cluster TV.PHARM, Luong Hoa A Commune, Chau Thanh District, Tra Vinh Province, Tra Vinh Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (TV.PHARM) held a ceremony to inaugurate and put into operation Phase 1 of the AIKYA EUROPA Pharmaceutical Plant. The project was supervised and consulted by TEXO Investment and Consulting Joint Stock Company.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the commencement of Phase 1 of the AIKYA EUROPA Pharmaceutical Plant in the High-Tech Pharmaceutical Industrial Cluster – TV Pharm GMP EU.

The event was attended by notable figures, including Dr. Ta Manh Hung, Deputy Director of the Drug Administration Department (Ministry of Health); Kim Ngoc Thai, Standing Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council of Tra Vinh; Lam Minh Dang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Van Han, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; leaders of provincial departments, committees, and sectors, as well as TV.PHARM’s partners.

Delegates participated in the inauguration ceremony.

Construction commenced in 2020 following the direction of the People’s Committee of Tra Vinh Province, the project to build the High-Tech Pharmaceutical Zone TV.PHARM included various investment items with the goal of production in each phase. After nearly 3 years of construction, the AIKYA EUROPA Pharmaceutical Plant (Phase 1) of TV.PHARM has been completed and put into operation. This is the first plan within the High-Tech Pharmaceutical Zone.

The AIKYA EUROPA Pharmaceutical Factory is part of the TV.PHARM High-Tech Pharmaceutical Industrial Cluster project, located in Luong Hoa A Commune, Chau Thanh District, Tra Vinh Province. The factory has been constructed and invested in accordance with the international GMP-EU standards, featuring advanced production lines that enhance the quality of over 200 existing pharmaceutical products of TV.PHARM Pharmaceuticals.

This project contributes to the advancement of the pharmaceutical industry in Vietnam, helping to reduce the burden of imported medicines and contributing to market stability amidst the current economic challenges. Most importantly, it enables Vietnamese consumers to access domestically produced medications of international quality at the most reasonable prices.
